Clay Impressions
Clay plaques are made by making an impression into soft, smooth clay. The 15cm hanging plaque and 18cm frame fit two hands, two feet or one hand and one foot, depending on the size of hand or foot. The 30cm frame fits a plaque with both hands and both feet, or a combination of adult & child hands.
You can then choose the design, decorative add-ons, text and colours.
15cm x 15cm hanging plaques cost £30 each for both hands, or feet or one of each. Cost includes hanging velvet ribbon in a choice of 5 colours: Purple, Pink, Blue, Green or Orange
18cm x 18cm framed plaques cost £45 for both hands or both feet or one of each. Cost includes backing board in a choice of colours, and a black or white wooden frame.
30cm x 30cm framed plaques cost £55 for a double set of both hands and feet. Cost includes backing board in a choice of colours, and a black or white wooden frame.
There’s a lot of choice: a black or white frame, mount backing colour, impression colour and text style and colour and all options discussed and agreed during your appointment.
Clay impressions take approx 5 – 6 weeks to be finished due to the slow drying process of the clay which is undertaken to avoid cracking.
Please note that the minimum age required for clay impressions is 6 weeks old and booking an appointment is essential.
