Our Toddler Read & Paint sessions are a gentle, creative experience designed especially for toddlers and their grown-ups. Held throughout the month on Friday mornings from 10:30–11:30am, these relaxed sessions combine storytelling and ceramic painting in a calm, welcoming studio environment.

Parents can choose a story from our in-studio book selection and read it together with their child. Children will then paint a ceramic character or object inspired by the book. Each child receives one ceramic item to paint, with all paints and materials included, plus a cup of squash to keep little artists refreshed.

These sessions are child-focused and different from our usual pottery painting sessions. Adults are there to support, encourage and share the story, but do not paint their own items. This helps keep the focus on the child’s experience and allows the session to remain calm, unrushed and playful.

Sessions are £15 per child and are not drop-off, making them a lovely mid-morning activity designed around imagination, creativity and shared time together.
